How it works
Set up the trip
Pick the courses, stack the games for each round, set the buy-ins and how the pot splits. Save it as a template and the next trip takes two minutes.
The squad joins with a code
Text a link or say the six letters at the bar. Everyone is on the board in ten seconds, no account required. Add one later and nothing is lost.
Score on the cart, settle once
Enter gross strokes and tap the junk. Every game recalculates live. Each hole tells you who strokes and what is riding on it. At the end, the fewest transfers that square everyone up.

Stack one base game with any number of side games per round. Each one gets its own board and explains every hole in plain English.
Stableford
Standard or modified tables, quota, pick up when you're out of it.

Money that settles itself
Buy-ins per day or per trip, prize lines as percentages, ties that share positions. When the day is final, the ledger locks and the app finds the fewest payments that make everyone whole.
- Winning pair 50%, runner-up 30%, top Stableford 20%: whatever your group does.
- "Your payments" card with a Venmo link that opens with the amount filled in.
- Mark it paid. The board shows who still owes.
- Multi-day trips settle once at the end, not three times.
Handicaps done the right way
World Handicap System math
Course handicap from index, slope, rating and par. Allowances by format. Strokes fall on the right holes by stroke index, including the second time around for the 20-handicap.
Fair for the whole squad
Play off the low man, use a percentage, or give the guy having a rough week a mercy boost for Saturday with a reason everyone can see.
Official handicaps
Members should be able to pull their Handicap Index straight from GHIN. We have applied to the USGA for partner data access so that happens with one tap, and manual entry works today.
Not another tournament app
Tournament apps run one event with one format. A trip is three days, five games and one pot of money. Fore Squad is built around the trip.
Questions
Does everyone need the app?
No. Anyone can join and score from a link in their browser. The app adds offline scoring and notifications, and it is free.
What if we lose signal on the back nine?
Scores queue on the phone and sync when you're back in range. Boards catch up on their own.
Can two people enter the same card?
Yes. Anyone in the group can mark anyone. Every entry records who made it, so disputes are settled with the audit trail, not a shouting match.
How do handicaps get in?
Type them, or bring last trip's. GHIN lookup is coming as soon as the USGA gives us data access.
Does Fore Squad move money?
No. It tells you who pays whom and opens Venmo with the amount filled in. You mark it paid.
What does it cost?
Free for your squad while we're in beta. A Pro tier for commissioners who run several trips a year will come later. Playing will always be free.
