Fore Squad is a scoring and settle-up app for golf trips. This page says plainly what we collect, what we do with it, and how to make us delete it. If anything here is unclear, email hello@foresquad.com.

What we collect

• Trip data you enter: trip and round names, courses, the games you set up, scores, side-game taps, buy-ins and payouts, and paid marks. Everyone on the trip can see this; that is the point.
• Your name on the trip and, if you add it, your handicap index and Venmo handle. Your Venmo handle is shown only to people on the same trip so they can pay you.
• Account details if you link Apple or Google: the identifier and email those providers share with us. Guests get a random identifier and no email.
• Waitlist email, trip size and a note if you fill in the form on this site.
• Technical data: crash reports and basic usage events so we can fix bugs. No advertising identifiers.

What we do with it

• Run your trip: live boards, hole notes, settle-up math.
• Send transactional messages you ask for, such as an invite to a player you add by email or phone.
• Email people on the waitlist about access. Unsubscribe by replying.
• Fix bugs and see which features get used.

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads. We never move money; Venmo links open the Venmo app with an amount filled in, and any payment happens there under Venmo's terms.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase in the United States. Crash reporting uses Sentry. Email invites, if you send them, go through Resend; text invites through Twilio. Each of these processes data only to provide that service to us.

Handicaps

Handicap indexes are entered by you or your commissioner. If we add official handicap lookup in the future, it will be under a separate agreement with the handicap authority and we will update this page before it goes live. Fore Squad is not affiliated with the USGA or GHIN.

Deleting your data

Email hello@foresquad.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and remove your name from trips within 30 days. Scores already on a trip's board stay with the trip, attributed to a removed player, so the other players' results still add up.

Children

Fore Squad is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will note the date above and tell active users in the app.
